Utah Tech Campus Store Return Policy
ID Cards are strict no return and no refund item.
Textbooks may be returned the first week of the semester, for 100%.
To return textbooks new/used, you must do the following: Drop your class and have your current class schedule and Have the original sales receipt
The following restrictions will be applied to all textbook returns:
New books that are written in or show signs of use will be returned at 70%.
A $3.00 service charge will be applied if
shrink-wrap has been removed.
All items included with the book, such as access codes, study guides, and
promotional merchandise, must be returned with the book.
No refunds will be given
if an access code has been opened. Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment.
Rentals must be turned in by the last day of final exams for each semester, to avoid being charged a non-refundable replacement value and late fee
No moisture damage, binding damage or excessive wear or writing will be accepted.
The rental fee is refundable only in accordance with the UT Bookstore Textbook Refund Policy.
A rented textbook may be purchased by paying the difference between the paid rental fee and the retail price. This may be done throughout the semester.
Must be returned within 14 days of access or 30 days after purchase, whichever occurs first. RedShelf cannot fulfill refund requests if more than 10% of the product has been viewed and/or if any page(s) of the product has been printed.

Unfulfilled orders and unopened devices can be returned within 14 days for a full refund. If the device has been opened, there will be a 20% restocking fee. (CTO or Products with a part number that starts with the letter Z are not eligible for return)
Defective Apple products will be handled in accordance with the Apple warranty. Please see the Technology Supervisor for more information.

A representative from the Technology Department must verify that the merchandise is in new, sell-able condition.

Clearance merchandise is sold as-is with no warranty available and no refunds permitted.
Refunds for items that have had the security or protective packaging opened,
or are used or defective, will be made at the discretion of a supervisor from the Technology Department.
This merchandise must meet the manufacturer’s return guidelines and may incur a restocking fee.
Returns/Exchanges may be permitted on new/unworn items (not including clearance product) with receipt, and must include original attached tags and/or packaging.
Customers have 30 days from the date of the original purchase to make any returns/exchanges.
- Where appropriate, refunds will be issued in the same form as the original method of payment with the exception of purchases made by check where the refund will be made in cash. It may be necessary to ask for identification in connection with return or exchange. We reserve the right to limit or decline a refund or exchange.
- If you return an item for exchange, the replacement merchandise that you receive cannot be refunded, it is only eligible for exchange.
- Items damaged, altered, or abused after delivery to the customer cannot be returned.
- Special event product, such as game specific product, or “game day” product, cannot be returned or exchanged due to the time sensitive nature of the product.
